16th February ... Whats that coming over the hill, is it a monster, is it a monster ......... oh yes Byron is back

2nd February ... Great win against Hartridge 2nds on Saturday, kept a clean sheet for the second week in a row

21st January ... I can't believe it we've actually got a game arranged for Saturday, our first game since December 5th!! It's the return fixture against Old Tylerians so lets hope that it doesn't rain too much more!!

2nd January ... Happy New Year and lets hope we can carry on the good start we've had to the season, unfortunately due to the Autumn internationals and bad weather we haven't played a lot recently and it didn't help with today's game at Bridgend Sports being called off this morning. We have had a bonus recently with Grunt, 'Big' Gary and 'Little' Lee returning to training to bolster the squad

18th October ... Another good win, score did not reflect on the game as we had to battle hard for every point. Andy Bates scored 3 tries and kicked all 6 conversions for a match haul of 27 points

3rd October ... Absolutely fantastic effort from everyone today everything seemed to click into place, still a few mistakes to tidy up but a great win

26th September ... Good win today at Old Tylerians, not a polished performance but much better than the previous two weeks

24th September ... Another game lost due to defensive errors, hope to put it right this week against new league opponents Old Tylerians

14th September ... A few words about Saturdays game - we was rubbish! Didn't think it was wise to ask Hoppy for his opinion this week!!

7th September ... Good start to the season with a convincing win over West Mon in the league, tries coming from Sheppy, Juan and Batesy, with Batesy adding two conversions and three penalties. Hoppy's verdict - good performance overall but still a few areas to work on in training ........ boo Hoppy!!

1st September ... 4 days to go!!! West Mon away in the league to start the season off

31st August ... Good team building event in the school field behind Hoppy and Ian's houses last night, BBQ, 20ft marquee, players and families and of course the summer rain!! Highlight of the night volleyball in the near darkness and the rain, it was all going so well until the rugby tackles started and then the pile-ons .... alcohol and idots really don't mix!!!!

27th July ... Training is continuing on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6:30 at Girling Sports Fields, its been going well so far (Hoppy hasn't killed anyone .... yet), we are making good use of the tackle shields and contact suits we recieved last year and hopefully in the near future we will be getting a scrummage machine

26th July ... New league has been set up incorporating teams from Newport, Pontypool and Gwent Districts. The line up is as follows:
